Chapter 17 - The Rampage

They emerged into daylight at a run.

Sisyphus first, then Daedalus gasping behind him, then the guards, then Keras stumbling, then Theron shouting orders no one was following.

The screaming had stopped.

That was worse.

Sisyphus hit the courtyard at full speed, momentum carrying him forward three steps before his brain processed what his eyes were seeing.

He stopped.

The eastern wall was rubble. Just... gone. The violence of it was breathtaking, not the careful demolition of engineering but raw force applied without precision.

And the bodies.
